01Our Commitment to Responsible Gaming
Menace Casino is committed to fostering an entertaining and safe gaming environment. We believe gambling should be a form of leisure — enjoyed in moderation, within your means, and never treated as a source of income or a way to escape financial pressure.
As a casino licensed by the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of the Comoros (licence ALSI-202506021-FI1), Menace provides responsible gaming tools as a condition of its licence. For our Filipino players, our approach is also aligned with the principles of the PAGCOR Responsible Gaming Code of Practice — even though Menace is an offshore operator rather than a PAGCOR-licensed brand.
02Key Principles of Responsible Gaming
- Player protection — we put your wellbeing ahead of short-term revenue, with safeguards built into the platform.
- Transparency — clear rules, honest odds, and Provably Fair verification so you always know how games work.
- Self-control tools — practical limits and breaks you can set yourself, at any time, from your account.
03Who Is Not Allowed to Play
For legal and ethical reasons, the following individuals must not gamble at Menace Casino:
- Persons under 18 years of age (the Anjouan offshore minimum; PAGCOR-domestic Philippine casinos require 21+).
- Government officials directly connected with gambling operations, and their immediate relatives.
- Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP), and their immediate relatives.
- Students of any school, college or university.
- Anyone who has self-excluded or been excluded from gambling.
04What Is Gaming
Gaming refers to activities that involve placing a wager on an uncertain outcome in the hope of winning a prize. By default, it is a form of entertainment. It becomes harmful only when done inordinately — when time and money spent gambling start to outweigh the enjoyment, or interfere with everyday life. Understanding that distinction is the foundation of responsible gaming.
05Common Myths About Gambling
Mistaken beliefs fuel problem gambling. Here are some of the most common myths — and the reality.
06When Does Gambling Become a Problem
Gambling becomes a problem when it stops being a choice. The warning pattern is an uncontrollable urge to gamble that continues despite negative consequences — leading to mounting debt, strained relationships, and harm to family and personal life. Problem gambling is a recognised behavioural condition, and like any condition, it responds to early recognition and the right support.
07Signs of Gambling Addiction
If several of the following apply to you or someone close to you, it may be time to seek help:
- An increasing obsession with gambling and thinking about it constantly.
- Needing to bet more money, more frequently, to feel the same excitement.
- Restlessness or irritability when trying to cut down or stop.
- Chasing losses — gambling more to try to win back what was lost.
- Loss of control, continuing to gamble despite clear negative consequences.
- Neglecting personal, family or professional responsibilities.
- Borrowing money, or selling possessions, to fund gambling.
08Self-Control Tools at Menace
Menace gives you practical tools to stay in control. You can set most of them yourself at any time via Account → Settings → Responsible Gaming.
- Deposit limits — cap how much you can deposit daily, weekly or monthly.
- Loss limits — set a maximum amount you are willing to lose over a period.
- Wager limits — limit the total you can stake in a given timeframe.
- Session time limits — restrict how long a single session can last.
- Reality checks — on-screen reminders every 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
- Time-out — a short break from 24 hours up to 30 days.
- Cooling-off — a longer pause when you need more distance.
- Self-exclusion — a formal, longer-term block, arranged through support.
09Self-Exclusion Program
If you need to stop completely for a while, self-exclusion is available for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. In line with the PAGCOR standard, the first 6-month period is irrevocable once activated — this protects you from reversing the decision in a difficult moment.
At Menace, self-exclusion is arranged through our support team rather than as a self-service toggle, so that the request is handled carefully and confirmed. Filipino players can also apply for nationwide exclusion across PAGCOR-licensed venues through the official PAGCOR exclusion programme. If you self-exclude, take the same step with any other gambling accounts you hold.
10Tips on Responsible Gaming
- Know the games — never wager before you understand the rules and the odds.
- Plan your activity — treat gambling as one leisure activity among many, not the only one.
- Set a time and money limit — decide a stop time before you start, and set an alarm to remind you.
- Be conscious of yourself — only play with a clear, relaxed mind; quick decisions made under stress are harmful.
- Keep a healthy social mindset — do not take games too seriously, and never gamble to solve a problem.
11Protecting Minors
Gambling at Menace is strictly limited to players aged 18 and over on the Anjouan offshore platform (21+ for PAGCOR-domestic Philippine casinos). We may request identity verification at any time to confirm a player's age. If you share a device with children, we strongly recommend installing parental-control software such as Norton Family, Net Nanny or Qustodio, and never leaving gaming accounts logged in.
